Success Story: Willie (#1009)

Willie (#1009) met the family of his dreams! His forever home with Gary and Lucie comes complete with a great big back yard where he can play ball with Gary to his heart's content. Lucie and Gary love and adore him, and their daughter will be coming home this weekend from college just to give him a great big hug and kiss! He gets to go for a walk every night to meet and greet the neighbors, and make new friends. He even has a new friend of his very own at home, a cute hamster, that is red just like him! Look at that smile on Willie's face — a picture of happiness and contentment, and a new forever home for this very special boy. Congratulations Gary, Lucie, and, the luckiest of them all, Willie!

Update: October 5, 2004

Willie is doing wonderfully. We are still thrilled he came to live with us. He is absolutely the best dog ever. The summer was quite fun... hikes in the mountains, and his most favorite thing was to swim in the lakes. It's wonderful to have a dog that is such a good traveler, because we just take him with us wherever we go. He has a "girlfriend" next door that he stays with when we go somewhere he can't come and they get along great! She is a black lab and her humans LOVE Willie!

For a 7 year old, he certainly has a lot of energy and is keeping us in pretty good shape with the daily walks and play times. He loves to play fetch.
