Success Story: Currie (#1031)

Adopted August 1, 2004

CurrieAn email from Currie's new family says it better than we ever could.

I am sure that you know that we did bring Currie (#1031) home. Her picture and story do not do her justice! She is just a little doll of a girl. Our James seems to have fallen in love at first sight. He and she went into the backyard and soon he was playing more than I have seen him play with anyone. When it came time to leave, Currie actually tried to push James aside so she could be first in the car. They were two angels on the ride home (a long 4 hours, with pit stops for water and the usual). As soon as we got home, we put Currie's bed in the bedroom next to our bed. She went and laid down as if it had been there forever. While there, three of our four cats came in to see what the commotion was all about. None of them showed the slightest concern — Ziggy even went nose to nose with her and she was just fine. I do believe that she was really meant to come to us.

Thank you for everything — we will always be a Golden Bond fanatic!

Regards,
Katherine and Donald
