Success Story: Gunner (#1042)

Adopted July 11, 2004

GunnerGunner and Bailey (a female Golden Rescue #88) are doing GREAT! They enjoy going for rides, walks, and Gunner likes to play a lot more than Bailey does. He has been a perfect match for Bailey and we are really thankful that we can provide them with the love and family environment they deserve.

Update October 6, 2004

GunnerHi everyone! My name is Gunner (#1042) and I want to thank Golden Bond Rescue and my foster mom who loved and cared for me before I moved to my forever home. It's so cool here. Jeff and Angie, my new forever parents, let me rule along with my forever sister, Bailey. It was kinda neat to find out that Bailey came from a Golden Bond Rescue foster home, too. She and I got along great from the start.

While mom and dad are at work, we have all day to sleep, watch TV, or play, but they have stressed they do not want to find the furniture rearranged when they get home. That's OK cause we have lots of toys to play with and the entire house to play hide-n-seek in if we want. When we go on our daily walks, we always stop to say hi to the neighborhood kids who are playing. Sometimes it takes a little effort to get back on track especially when cats are loose. Bailey gets revved up and you know I want to follow suit just to get in on the action.

Gunner and BaileyWe all go on lots of rides, once to the coast, which was fun. Then there was dad's company picnic one weekend. That was really fun and I think Bailey and I truly impressed some folks who were thinking to adopt a Golden. We also got a few picnic goodies from the kids when mom and dad weren't looking (he-he-he). It's just that we Goldens know how to work a crowd.
