Success Story: Helen (#1055)

Our littlest angel, Helen (#1055), packed up all her energy and puppy enthusiasm and moved to her forever home in Sherwood. She left her foster mom and golden foster brother without so much as a woof as she jumped (with a little help because it was too high) into her Odyssey mini van with her new golden sister, Sunny. Janet and Andy are her new mom and dad. Shauna, 15, and Nathaniel, 9, are her new human sister and brother. After arriving home, she met feline, Jasmine, who is very happy to keep her distance. However, feline Sabrina, has given Helen several lessons in how to properly address a cat and Helen is beginning to figure out that Sabrina is not a dog.

Last year, Helen's new family raised Misty, an assistance dog puppy for Loving Paws. Misty left in January for advanced training and since then has graduated as a service dog. She has been so missed by her family that they longed for another puppy to fill her paws and stay forever. Training with Shauna in 4-H programs are in store for Helen, along with family vacations, lots of play with Sunny, and the kids.
