Success Story: Regent (#1087)

Dear Golden Bond,

I didn't have many belongings, 'cause they say I was a stray. :-( But I was pretty alone before Golden Bond found me. Anyway, I moved all the belongings I had, and me, to live with Mark and Laurissa. They're into teeth. Laurissa is a periodontist and Mark is going to be a dentist. So, I have the cleanest dog teeth on the block. They love dogs, especially goldens! My best buddy is puppy golden, Rusty. We play a lot and I help him learn what the human folks want him to do around the house.

Boy! Sure beats being a stray.

Regent (some call me Duke) (#1087)

Update January 26, 2005

We sure do love our new body pillow named Duke (aka Regent #1087). We thought a king sized bed would be big enough for any little family. However, Duke has proved us wrong. Although very stubborn and set in his ways, Duke has made himself very comfortable in his new home. Our little stray indeed has made some very great progress with his oral hygiene. Besides having two dead teeth that will need root canals and crowns, his teeth are as clean as can be. He is most definitely one of the most beautiful dogs we have ever seen. He loves to snuggle and puts up with his little brother Rusty pretty darn well. Rusty still thinks he's the Alpha, but Duke is showing how seniority has its privileges. We are in week two of our first obedience course and doing very well. We already are able go on walks without being pulled by what feels like a small VW bug and we, at least, hesitate prior to jumping on exciting new people. We are also doing much better with our sits, downs, and stays. With a few more months of work and play, our new gentle giant, Duke, will be quite the distinguished gentleman. We don't know how to thank Golden Bond enough. The combination of school and two dogs definitely has us busy. But when school is over for good in June and enjoying our careers is all that is needed, trips with Golden Bond will definitely be on our Calender. Thank you soooo much for bringing Duke into our lives. Life will definitely never be dull or without love.
