Success Story: Charlie (#1114)

Adopted September 9, 2004

I'm sure you have heard the saying "3 strikes and you're out". Well, I'm here to tell you that the truth is that "the 3rd time is a charm". My name is Charlie (#1114) and I now have the best forever family anyone could want. I was given to the Oregon Humane Society after several years in my 1st home, and then was adopted by an older couple that kept me for 1-1/2 years. They gave me to Golden Bond Rescue and the best part of my life began. First was a foster home that taught me that people could love too and then on to my FOREVER home that is full of people that love and adore me.

I have more love and affection here than I can ever use up. Even when I make a big goof they still love me. It's wonderful!! Not only do I have a mom and dad, I also have a set of twin, 7 year old, human sisters and my little Molly. She is my human sister that is 4 years old just like me. She is about the sweetest smelling little girl I have ever sniffed. She kisses me too!!

Dad is teaching me to play Frisbee, my sisters are teaching me many games and Mom watches over all of us with those smiling eyes. I have plenty to learn but know that I will have plenty of time and love during that process. Thank you to all of you that have helped me down this great road. I will see you all at the picnic next summer.
