Success Story: Alex (#1124)

Adopted November 20, 2004

Alex (#1124) was given up when his former owner's new job left them with little time for him, and Alex became very lonely. Well, Alex no longer needs to worry about loneliness because he will be coming to work with us. Today is his first day at work and he is quickly winning the hearts of everyone here. We all keep finding excuses to get up and give him a stroke or adoring glance. In addition to winning over our employees, he's already charmed two customers who said they'll bring their dogs to meet him next time they come. One even ran out to her truck to bring him a treat.

Bruce and I fell in love with him the moment we picked him up. He is so sweet, gentle, and affectionate. Yet he has plenty of energy to play and hike. I told Bruce I haven't felt this way since I fell in love with him! We are so grateful to Golden Bond Rescue and the wonderful volunteers we met for bringing us together.
