Success Story: Brenda (#1128)

Adopted December 12, 2004

BrendaDear Foster Mom:

Well, it's been nearly a week since I arrived at my new home. I think I'm going to like it here. I've had lots of fun so far getting to know my new parents. We've gone for rides in the car. I got to meet my new grandmother and aunt. Dad and I go for a walk every day. (A forced military march — today's was at least two and a half miles!)

When we're not doing all of that, I hang out with Dad in the garage while he works on the old car he's restoring. He says we're going to go cruisin' this summer. I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds fun.

On the down side, I've escaped from the backyard twice. I couldn't help it, the neighbor's yard had some interesting things to check out. I came back when Dad called and he fixed the spots where the fencing was loose and I could crawl under.

My only other transgression was when Mom and Dad left me alone for a couple of hours while they went grocery shopping. I kind of tipped over the waste basket in the living room and tossed some papers about.

Other than that I've been really good. Honest.

Attached is a picture of me. I'm helping Dad cook dinner.

I just want you to know you did good in finding me this new home. Although I miss you and Moores, I know I will be happy here living out the rest of my days. Thanks again!

Love,
Brenda (#1128)
