Golden Retriever Rescue
For the Love of Goldens
Adopted February 3, 2005
Danny (#1142) has moved in to stay with Ann and Pat and their son in Beaverton and has become a mentor to resident golden, Ginger, also a Golden Bond adoptee. He is a consummate goofball; a complete 180° from her. Ginger just didn't know how to act around other dogs or people because she had spent so much time alone. She is now engaging in play with him; on her schedule, of course. She gives him the what-for if he is annoying her, though. Then, at times they do lie down together. She is also more demonstrative toward her mom and dad and let's them walk up to her and pet her when she is chewing on something.
So much for Danny's good works with Ginger. Danny is everyone's idea of the perfect family dog. He just wants to be near you and love you all the time. Nothing rattles him; always happy and carefree. He seems like a cross between snuffle-lopagus (from Sesame Street) and Eyore. All in all, I think it is a good fit for all.
