Success Story: Lance (#1155)

Hi, this is Lance (#1155). I feel like the luckiest boy around!! I am now a "Prince" and a "Gentleman" — Margaret's words, not mine! You could say that I've had a rough life. My first owner and I were homeless and lived out of a truck. Although I loved him very much, he wanted me to have a better life. Golden Bond came for me and took me to my foster home with Erin and Ross where I got stronger and put on some weight. When Margaret heard my sad story, she could hardly wait to meet me. Now, I have to explain, Margaret has had German Shepherds all her life. There's no one better than me to teach her a thing or two about loving a Golden Retriever. I already having her cooking eggs for my breakfast! It must be my adorable gray face! Margaret will be taking me for rides in her "dogmobile" and throwing tennis balls down the hall from her easy chair. Yes, indeed, life in Gresham with Margaret is going to be grand!!
