Success Story: Max (#1163)

Adopted March 18, 2005

MaxHi. This is Max (#1163), now known as Oliver. While I was a little sad to drive off away from my foster mom, I was ready for my new life on Oregon City. I have settled into my new home with Johanna who calls herself my gramma, but she's really my mom. She gave me a new name because she thought I deserved a more proper, distinguished one . My new life is quite amazing. I get to go on a one mile walk two times a day!!! Gramma says we'll be working up to 1-1/2 to 2 miles in the warmer weather. I usually take a long nap after we walk. We'll also be going on her 14' fishing boat!!!! Just she and I!!! I get groomed EVERY day and my coat has gotten really shiny. The grandkids come to visit regularly and they play with me in my huge backyard. There's even a small hole in the fence, big enough for my head to fit through so that the children who walk by can pet me. I sleep in gramma's room on my big new bed. Life is good.

Thank you to Golden Bond for taking such good care of me and for having that nasty tooth removed — I feel much better without that pain and can enjoy my life more!

Oliver (aka Max)
