Farley (#1168) now makes his home in Eugene with Anna and her 4 year old Lab, Daisy. Anna says, of their first days together.
"Daisy and Farley got along great from the very beginning, which was very important. Farley was excited to have someone to play with, and someone new to rub his head. He is just a big furry love-ball, and I just couldn't resist his big brown puppy dog eyes.
When we got home, Farley and Daisy explored the backyard and Daisy showed him where all the neighborhood cats come through the fence — I think the wild birds will have a much safer haven now that I've got both Daisy and Farley surveying the yard. =)
Farley has a new bed and new blankets, and he couldn't be happier. They both sleep on the floor in their beds in my bedroom, and are already on the same potty, mealtime, and walk schedules! Farley has adjusted quite well. Daisy is learning that it's OK to share toys, and sometimes, it's OK to even share treats and pets. More than anything though, she's very happy to have a new friend in the house that she can wrestle and play tug-o-war with.
Thanks for all your help with Farley — this was a very smooth adoption process, and Daisy and I couldn't be happier!
