Jake (#1177) has moved from the south Oregon coast to Sherwood to live with Kim and Russ and their three year old son. It was a match that was meant to be. The story of the first few days is always the best adoption announcement. Here's what Kim says.
"We instantly fell in love with him. We knew we just had to have Jake be a part of our family. He is SO sweet and loving and gentle. The cat doesn't think so yet, but he will come around! We got our cat on Valentine's Day 6 years ago and now we got Jake on Valentine's Day this year. It was meant to be!
Jake's first night with us was good. He started out on our bed and then moved to his dog bed. He stayed there until my cat came out of hiding about 4:30 this morning, then he was ready to go play. I put the cat out and Jake stayed downstairs. When Russ got up this morning, Jake was right at home on the couch. :-) Jake just loves attention and so far is getting TONS of that. Russ is absolutely thrilled and our son said that he was a lucky boy to have such a nice dog. I have attached a couple of pictures we took last night. As you can see, Jake is smiling and happy! Thanks so much for helping us find such a wonderful dog. I can already tell that Jake is going to be one pampered pet! We look forward to many years with this special guy!
