Success Story: Chance (#1267)

Hi! my name is Chance (#1267), and I'm having a BALL with my new Forever Family, Brian and Susan Case, and my best buddy Pilloh Case (10 year old female Golden Retriever/Collie mix) Pilloh and I have great fun playing with balls and toys, and leaving them all over the house and in the back yard. Mom says I bring a whole new energy level to our family.

Mom takes Pilloh and me for our walk every morning. I get so excited about our walks that she says my tail just might put dents in the wall! We sometimes visit our neighborhood park. It has a fully enclosed tennis court where mom can let us run and play OFF LEACH. She brings toys, treats and water and sometimes sneaks in some obedience training.

One of my favorite inside games is stair-master. It's fun to run up the stairs, then run down the stairs, over and over. It's especially fun at night when mom and dad are trying to sleep. I also love to spend hours watching the fish in our 55 gallon fish tank. I get my nose right up to the glass and watch them swim all over. I still don't understand why they won't come out and play with me. I also love to lay on my dog bed in the sun room, with my nose in the air savoring all of the neighborhood smells. In the evenings when we're all downstairs, I'm a velcro dog. I will attach to dad, Pilloh will attach to mom, and we all get lots of "luvs". And if I ever spot mom or dad's hands not doing anything, my nose reminds them that I would love some extra attention.

Last month I got to visit my new Vet. She checked me over and gave me a clean bill of health. I also got shiny new dog tags, my license, my chip, and my tattoo. Mom and dad heard that I have a reputation for being an escape artist, and they don't want to take any chances on losing me. That won't happen. I know my name is Chance, and I always come when mom or dad call me.

Hmmmm ... I smell dinner... I gotta go. Check out the great photo of me and Pilloh sharing the love seat and taking a nap. (I'm the one on the right.)
