Drifter
Wow, this is GREAT living in a one-dog forever home! I liked my foster brothers and sisters, but here I get to be the center of attention and everybody loves on me and plays with me without any competition! I also get a boy of my very own who loves to run and play almost as much as I do. What might be best of all is that my forever home has three fascinating creatures called cats, which I spend much of my free time trying to find. I just want to play with them, but Mom and Dad keep telling me to leave them alone.

My forever family has learned that I love nothing more than running, so they try to give me plenty of opportunities to do what I do best. I get to play with other dogs at Grandma and Grandpa's and at the school field, and although some of them are kind of a nuisance, I know that I can always just outrun them.

The bonus about doing a lot of running is that it gives me an excuse to do a lot of snoozing later in the day. I love curling up on a couch with one of my humans and exposing my belly for some extended tummy-time. Aside from training them to give me some loving when I need it, I've also succeeded in training them to play a lot of fetch with me, but of course "fetch" is just another excuse to run, and the running sometimes takes precedence over the retrieving.

Although my forever family have never had a dog before, they take very good care of me and I'm getting back to my normal weight after being kind of skinny when they picked me up in the big red car (which I LOVE to ride in). They're still learning what I want when I get really excited, but they eventually figure it out. I really like it here and I get the impression that my forever family has really taken a liking to me, too. Thank you, Golden Bond Rescue!
