Sammie
Happy Dog, happy dog! That's me! A very happy dog! I am the luckiest dog ever as I went directly from foster home to forever home without missing a meal as my "foster mom" adopted me INSTANTLY! I love my new house and my Mom is pretty cool. She got me a trainer to help me learn door manners, leash manners, and how to share the house with Shadow, the 15 year old cat who doesn't much like me being around. I have learned not to chase her, but when I see anything moving out of the corner of my eye, my instincts take over and off I go chasing her up the stairs and under the bed. I would never hurt her as I only want to play. I guess she doesn't understand 65 pounds of bouncing paws isn't going to hurt her.

My Mom says I think I am a 10 pound puppy instead of a 65 pound adolescent as I LOVE to sit on her lap while we watch movies and when we crawl into bed I guess I take up more than my fair share. What can I say: I just LOVE to cuddle!

I also get to go to a house at the beach on the weekends. It took me a while to get use to the sand and I can't wait to splash in the waves. My favorite place to run is the local tennis courts. I run and run and run, and always bring back the ball to my Mom, after a little coaxing of course. I don't want her to think I am too smart!

Recently I went to my Mom's work. I am slowly getting used to meeting new people and someday my Mom says I will be trained to be a great therapy dog. Does that mean I need therapy? Not now that I have been adopted to a loving home, so I guess it means I will provide therapy to others... just like my Mom who is a therapist!

Well, the movie is about to start and I must assume my place on my Mom's lap... what did she do before I arrived?

Thanks GOLDEN BOND for finding me the perfect FOREVER Home...

Love,
Sammie
