Success Story: Dalton (#1297)

Dalton (#1297) found his new forever home in Grants Pass on two beautifully wooded acres and he is now known as "Skye". He was named after a Skye Island which is a beautiful little island off the coast of Scotland. When the Atlantic is fierce and the sailors have trouble making the mainland, they find safe harbor on Skye Island, until the storms end and the waters are safe. It literally means "giving shelter" and we feel that's what we do when we are blessed to give shelter in its fullest meaning to some dear little needy one of God's creatures.

We wanted to name this beautiful Golden boy in honor of that concept and miracle. Skye and the rest of our family are a perfect fit for each other. We are so thankful for him. He shares his days with our bloodhound Dave and they love to explore every corner of our property together.

Thank you Golden Bond for this sweet boy. We will love and care for him for the rest of his life!
