I was rescued as a stray by some nice folks in Eugene, then moved to Lorn and Eric's house in Salem before Christmas. (Oh, I guess I should mention that there's a big red dog there named Homer who also came from Golden Bond.) Anyway, there's a neat dog door I must go in and out of 30 times a day. We play at the tennis court and in the park, and every Saturday morning I take the guys to learn tricks in a class with other humans. (It's pretty clear that the dogs are in charge there.) I pretend to go along with games like "wait," "leave it," "heel" you know all that silliness.
They forced me to go to the doctor because I itch a lot, and the worst part is the baths. Are they really necessary? Anyway, after some medicine and more water than any little guy should have to endure, I'm scratching a lot less. They tell me we're going to take some fun trips this summer, and I can hardly wait. Thanks for giving me this new place. I think every golden deserves a second chance don't you?
