Memorial: Chance (#1445)

Chance Crossed the Rainbow Bridge: September 24, 2008

Chance (#1445) crossed the Rainbow Bridge today due to deteriorating health. We only had him for two years but he was a joy to be around and will be missed immensely by John and Bev.

Chance

Hi, my name is Chance (#1445) and this picture is the best my Mom could do since I'm very camera shy. When I see a camera I run and hide! Mom was sneaky and got this picture while I was waiting for a cookie from my Dad. On one side is Mayo, my 15 year old brother and Misha, my 10 year old sister is on the other side. That's me, 11 years old, in the middle. We get along really well. Other than the two or three times a day that Mom takes us out for a walk we're pretty much couch potatoes.

I was only suppose to stay with my foster family until I found my forever home, but I was so good, so loving and so perfect (I'm not modest), I convinced John and Bev that they should keep me - and they did! So now I'm in my Forever Home.

I owe special thanks to Martha and Andrew, who found me as a stray, and nursed me back to health before giving me to Golden Bond. It was their love and help that gave me a second chance at life. I think that's why they named me Chance. I owe them my life and because of them I am now with my Forever Family, forever!!

Regards - Chance and Bev P.
