Hello, meet me Amber) Hazra.
I came to my forever family on September 9th. My foster mom brought me over for my initial visit, but it was love at first sight (or lick). I stayed home from that day. When my foster mom left, I was a little nervous, but mommy fed me some bread and Neha (the youngest human in the family) gave me a lot of TLC. Daddy and Dia didi (didi in our language means older sister) went to Pet Smart and came home with tons of goodies for me – my favorite was the plastic hamburger, which I chewed up in a couple of days.
Initially I was a little apprehensive, but then I realized these humans are very easy to train. I love taking them for a walk, playing in the back yard (chasing the pesky squirrels and birds) and sleeping on the bed next to daddy; I also enjoy the Sunday morning wrestling matches with dad. The only thing I still do not enjoy is our occasional trips to our beach house in Rockaway; I hate the car rides and despite the Dramamine mommy feeds me, I tend to throw up during the ride. However I am hoping that I will get used to this too. All in all this has been a fun month of my life and if this is how it will be, I am looking forward to the next 15 years!!
