Success Story: Sara (#1575)

Adopted June 15th, 2007

Sara has been adopted by Charlie and what a wonderful match this has been. Charlie adopted Roscoe around the first of the year and shortly after Roscoe began having seizures. Roscoe was put on meds and he did well for several months but he was older and a brain tumor was suspected and he died in early summer.

While at the vet one day, when Charlie was there to pick up meds for Roscoe, he happened to meet Sara who was there for a check up. He instantly took to her and kind of put her in the back of his mind. When Roscoe died he inquired whether Sara was still in foster care and if she was available. Well she certainly was, in fact the foster was considering adopting her but when Charlie made his interest known and he met her again, that was all that was needed to know that this match made in heaven!

Sara and Charlie are quite a team. They have been vacationing in Charlie's motor home, she gets lots of walks and one of her favorites is that he will throw her ball just as often as she wants. It just brings a smile to your face to see these two together. This was meant to be.
