Success Story: Cheyenne (#1583), now Sadie

Adopted June 25th, 2007

Sadie was rescued from a not very happy life. When we were called to foster this tripod (3 legged dog), heard her sad story, how could we say no. Since we keep every foster dog that we have ever had, we knew we were probably getting our next "child". As soon as we set eyes on her, we knew it for sure. Sadie was very sad shy, not accustomed to being around people. She didn't know how to take treats or play. She stayed in a corner by herself for a few days was afraid to be petted.

What started to emerge was a whole new dog. That's why the name change. She is funny feisty took over the whole house all the dogs beds. She is totally in charge of the backyard is executive squirrel manager. It is a job she takes seriously. She loves to be petted cuddled even talks to us. No, she is not all Golden, she is half Lab a very funny girl. She even stands up to her big Golden brother Duke/Doogie Boowser. We don't notice her missing leg, it makes her even more special. We are very lucky to have this wonderful girl in our lives.
