Success Story: Annie (#1658)

Adopted Jan. 5, 2008

Hi, My name is Annie, should be lucky Annie. I walked into my foster parents home Thanksgiving weekend so that they could evaluate me to find my forever home. Little did they know I evaluated them first and just stole their hearts, making their home my new home. They have lots of things that intrigue me, like 2 Golden Retriever boys that I really like and am training to do things my way. One of the boys is Cultus #1526who was a Golden Bond dog that they now call Murphy. My other brother is Kody and he is filling me in on all the things that I need to know.

They also have lots of stuffed toys that I just love to pull out of the toy box and carry around the house. Sometimes I will pack 2 or 3 at a time which amuses my new parents. When I am home with just one of my parents I follow them all thru the house so that I know what they're doing. If they go to the computer desk I like to curl up under the desk so that I can be near them all the time.

Another thing I like to do is going on a walk which we do a couple times a day (on most days). My new parents say I walk pretty well on the leash.

I love, love, love to ride in the car. If you're not looking and a car door is open I will be inside before you know and be ready to go with you. I make the boys ride in the rear most of the time.  Sometimes the neighbors will stop by with their dogs and we all get to run and visit in the yard together which is lots of fun. There may be 4 or 5 of us just having a great time running together with a little growling and barking to show our excitement. All the neighbors think that I am very sweet and my  parents couldn't agree more. I am so blessed that I came to Golden Bond Rescue to find my new forever home.
