Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon, Inc. Success Story: Grizzly (#1714)Adopted May 24, 2008
Grizzly has been with us for about a month now and is settling in nicely. He is practically nonstop motion during the day, but lays down by the bed about 9PM and sleeps soundly through the night. He is a curious and happy dog that wants to make friends with everyone. When we walk through the woods in our yard he finds it much more interesting to barrel through the brush rather then stay on the boring path. Michael was off at college when we adopted Grizzly and it was quite a surprise to both when they met at the airport a few weeks ago. Grizzly was in Michael's room many times prior to meeting him and seemed to know exactly who he was once he caught site of him. Grizzly has a fascination with the tub and is hypnotized by the water going down the drain. Hopefully that is a good sign that he will cooperate when it comes time for a dog bath. He is beginning to master catching a ball. I don't think he had much experience with a ball in his previous life because when I pitched it up to him it bounced right off his muzzle. His favorite play toy is a large outdoor pillow that is almost as big as he is. He will walk around the yard trying to shake the life out of it and dare you to try and catch him. We look forward to a long happy life with Grizzly. Thank you Golden Bond.
