Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon, Inc. Success Story: Golden (#1715) now AddyAdopted May 20, 2008
We adopted sweet “Golden” (#1715) now “Addy” into our family. We consider ourselves lucky that Addy had been treated specially by Geoff, Lise and Skye, her foster family, at their beautiful home in the country. We won’t forget the day Addy was delivered to us; bittersweet for her foster family but pure joy for us. Addy was timid at first, fearful of climbing our slick wood floors, but with treat incentives from our 10 year old daughter, Anna (& the promise of a soft bed at the top), she quickly overcame her fear and now spends every night at the foot of Anna’s bed. We believe that Addy is quite possibly the best dog in the world. She has enviable manners, is always up for a walk to meet other dogs (& the neighborhood squirrels), and never objects to watching yet another losing Mariners game! We waited awhile for this very special dog and the wait was certainly
well worth it.
With warm gratitude to all of the wonderful Golden Bond volunteers,
