Success story: Hannah (#442)

Latest Update from Hannah's Mom: February 13, 2004

HannahHannah brings so much happiness to our family. She is a regular member. What is so interesting is that the cats adore her. I believe she is happy. Bad habits that we are working on: she loves to counter surf! She loves to try and sneak out the front door when someone comes home. (She does not come back when called, she makes us chase her!) We were warned that she may be dog aggressive, although Golden Bond did not experience it. Well she is dog aggressive when she feels we like another dog!! She gets very jealous. We do our best to reassure her she is the only dog for us. I cannot express how much she means to us. She is a large bundle of love that we are extremely grateful that we were able to have her.

Thanks for making my family whole again.

Sincerely,
Hannahs Mom (Judy)

Adopted Fall 2003

Hannah (#442) traded her heaven on earth foster home at Charlton Kennels with trainer Dan Butcher, definitely the top boarding and training kennel which is on Sauvie Island, to heaven on earth adoption home with Judy and Pat of Beaverton.

Hannah was adopted on Friday and on Saturday she was the hostess for a party in her honor. People came bearing doggie gifts and treats to see the new and beautiful Hannah. Neither guest or dog were disappointed!

In addition to Hannah's new family of Judy and Pat, her family extends to their grown girls Alex and Caroline and close friends Jason and Julie. And we can't forget the three cats, Sedona, Sonora and Tubac. It is reported by Judy that the cats just adore Hannah and she is losing her fear of them very quickly.

Everyone in Hannah's new family agrees that she has brought them so much joy and they could not be happier with their new girl. Even Pat's folks told him they haven't heard him this happy in years.

So good for you, Hannah! It's amazing what just the right match between people and dog can do for the soul, the heart and the smile.
