For the Love of Goldens
Madison (#453), now known as Maddy, is at home in Pleasant Hill with her new family, Samantha and Doug. Her new canine friend is Anabel, a golden, who is teaching her the house rules. And, joy of joys... there are two acres of ups and downs, trees and plants, to explore and search for tennis balls when Doug throws them to secret places to keep her busy for a few minutes.
There are also two boy cats with girl names, Flax and Lavendar. When told that everyone had to be present for the home visit, Samantha told Golden Bond that the visit would have to be under the bed because that's where Flax and Lavendar are when someone comes to call. They are coming out more and more now, so they must have decided that Maddy can stay.
Also, Maddy's new mom is an artist, so, maybe, she will teach her paw painting. Maybe some of Maddy's artwork will be available for a raffle at next year's Golden Bond Picnic. PS. Samantha said she might even donate some of her prints. Wouldn't that be wonderful!
Another wonderful home for a very deserving golden. Best wishes for many happy years together.
