Success Story: Connor (#454)

Adopted Fall 2003

Connor Well, it had to happen, as this is one sweet boy, our Connor (#454), who is totally deaf, was adopted to a very happy owner named, Brian.

Brian and Connor are an equally perfect match. Connor is the single dog and Brian the single owner! Connor gets a nice long walk each morning and evening after work and a short walk even at lunch as Brian comes home most days.

Connor's deafness is no problem as absolutely nothing bothers him, not the vacuum cleaner, the leaf blower or barking dogs! He is the perfect gentleman and Brian feels he is the perfect dog for him.

This is another one of those matches made in heaven, no doubt about it! There is love written all over these two.

ConnorConner is doing wonderfully. Im so glad to have him in my life. Basically, his day encompasses a lot of sleeping with walks in the morning, lunch (most days) and evenings. Its great having a Golden. Whoever had him before really trained him well. He is so responsive to commands (even though he is deaf).

While I initially thought that he was completely deaf, that isn't the case. He can hear whistles and claps, so we communicate a lot that way.

ConnorI want to personally thank you for your help with Conner. He has become a wonderful addition to my life. All my friends agree (and I'm not biased at all), that he is the best deaf dog around!! Here is a picture of "the old man" doing his favorite activity... Sleeping!

Take care and glad that there's a Golden Bond Rescue with dedicated volunteers like you folks!

Brian
