Success story: Rory (#467)

Rory Rory (#467) has gone to live in Battle Ground, Washington, to live with Vickie and Ted, a retired couple with two other Goldens. The day after his departure, his foster mom received the following letter...

Hi Mom,

It's me Rory and oh dog golly it sure took a long time to get to my new forever home!!! It was sure fun riding along with Jake & Simon my new brothers. Simon & I would pace around cuz there was so much room but not to much. We all did get comfortable and take a nap or two!! My new mom and dad kept on talking to me and petting me so I felt better about this new adventure.

When I arrived at my forever home (finally!!!) there was a young girl Valerie there to greet me and take me into my new home!!! There I met her dog Henry and his mom Stacy dog golly everyone is so sweet to me I was sure wagging my tail a bunch over that. We all ate and played great together and I kept my new ball in my mouth a lot for comfort but did share it with my new brother Simon. Boy he sure takes over at times but we have fun.

Rory Dog Golly I was sure a tired pooch by the time we went to bed and I have a pad under my blanket I brought from your house and I closed my eyes !! That was it till about 7:00 am this morning. I went outside first thing and then we had breadfast!!!

I just want to say thanks mom for all your wonderful care and attention you gave me and as soon as my new mom and dad figure out their camera they told me they would send you pictures ok!!!

Thanks again Golden Bond for all your wonderful info and calls and for our wonderful new fur child he is such a sweet and beautiful boy!! I'm sorry I did not call you when we first got home but things were pretty hectic and I have brain bubbles at times.

Love,

Rory, Teddy, Vickie, Simon & Jake
