We are pleased to announce that Allie (#471) has a new home with Rick and Sandra and five-year-old Golden Niki in Toledo. At last word, Niki and Allie were working hard on their pack rankings so they can settle into congenial life together. Since Rick is retired (sort of), he will have lots of time to spend working on house manners and we bet there will be an obedience class under the Christmas tree. Best wishes to all four for many happy years together ahead. Adios, Allie.
In an email just received from Allie's family, we learn:
"We are all settled down for the night on either side of Rick's chair. This afternoon we had a 3 year old and 1-1/2 year old (child) and Allie did wonderfully. She didn't jump... just let them hug and kiss and did the same back. She has blended into our family as if she has always been here. Niki has accepted her and even lets her have the ball. Thank you for helping us add another Golden member to our family.
