For the Love of Goldens
Two year old Tucker (#483) gets to fill some pretty big shoes, as the Goldens before him lived to be 15 and 16 years old! Susan's home will be filled once again with the pitter patter of little feet! Well, make that BIG feet! With many years of guide dog puppy raising experience, Susan has the skills to help make Tucker into an exceptional golden. Susan reports: "We have been bonding, and he's making himself right at home. What a character! He has so much personality. Thank you so much for giving me the nicest Christmas present!"
Update: June 23, 2004
Tucker is doing great! He has a new best friend 'Tillie', a 1-year old career change yellow lab from Guide Dogs for the blind who adopted us in April. Tucker and Tillie have such a good time together. We were at the beach last weekend, and they had so much fun in the water and sand. Tucker also likes to swing in the hammock at home! He looks forward to his walks and coming home to splash in my backyard pond. His nickname is 'soggy paws' because he generally leaves a wet trail of paw prints when he comes in the house. His quirky sense of humor is such a gift, and he is so smart. He has brightened up my days. Thank you so much for Tucker. It's been a perfect match!
