Success Story: Sam (#989)

Adopted February 2004

Sam Sam (#989)

When Bob and Debbie first came over to meet me, I just hoped and hoped they would be my forever family... and guess what? They are! My foster Mom, Diane and my foster doggy pals were happy to meet my new family and to hear about my new forever home.

If finding my new forever home isn't great enough, I even get an older brother to share good times with. Drake showed me all around the house and kennel. I could tell by watching his wagging tail that he was happy to have a new pal in the family. He even told me how much fun we'll have when we visit the beach house and I can run and play in the ocean.

I just want everybody to know how Golden life can be with Drake, Debbie and Bob and my new forever home.

Update: March 30, 2004

SamDrake was adoptee #90, in May 1993. He's about 12.5 years old, a wonderful guy, one of the most friendly dogs out there — loves everyone, assumes everyone loves him (a very nice way to go through life!). Drake loves walks either at home, or especially on the beach (we have a place on the coast in Manzanita): nothing beats a good run-around on the beach, there are soooo many things to check out!

SamSam was adoptee #989. He's about 1.5 years old, and seems to have a similar 'I love everybody' attitude as Drake. Sam's a really sweet guy, is nuts over many kinds of toys (balls and other bouncy things are particularly fascinating, and anything that squeeks is in danger of a serious slobbering ;-) He has this interesting game where he squeeks a toy, while at the same time pawing a ball — really cute. Sam also loves walks — that's something to get really excited about!
