Success Story: Riley (#990)

Dear Golden Bond:

Springtime is a season of so many new beginnings and daffodils and tulips and crocuses and and baby lambs playing in the fields of the nearby farms. You probably wonder why such a big guy like me is so full of words, but I wanted to share my new beginnings with everyone.

After meeting Carol and Wayne, it didn't take very long for us to fall in love with each other. They told me about their home in Albany and the big back yard where we could play together, and of the trips we would take together in their motor home. I was one bundle of happy doggy nerves when I thought of the possibilities of making my forever home with such a special family.

And now it's all happened — we're sharing the best of times together and every day is a new adventure. I have two house mates of the feline variety. Ozzie and I are becoming the best of pals. Fritz has made it known that our relationship will take more time to develop.

I've had the opportunity to meet the newest grand baby in the family and will be happy to share more doggy kisses as time goes by. Visits from the grandchildren will make my days even more Golden than I ever thought possible. What a wonderful world!
