Adopted June 2004
Hi! Titus (#992) here just letting you know I got my own forever home, and it is SO cool! I know my foster parents have prayed I'd find my own boy to play with, but I got TWO! (OK, maybe three if you ask certain people...) But I got not one, but two 8 year old, super-cool kids named Adam and Nathan, and I get them all to myself! I also got two cool adult-sized humans named Tammy and Terry. I LOVE my new home! They keep telling me how much they love me, and how wonderful I am, and all of that. This is much better than I ever could have dreamed of. (Even in my doggy dreams when I'd start wagging my tail, and flopping it really hard when I was sound asleep! Maybe this is what I was dreaming of, but I couldn't tell my parents what it was all about.) My foster parents and foster sister were nice, but nothing compares to my new life. Thank you Golden Bond, and my original parents, for giving me this fantastic new future with my awesome family. I'm one happy dog!
Update September 2004
It was love at first SIGHT! Remember me? I'm the lucky guy that was able to have eye surgery thanks to all the nice volunteers at Golden Bond. My new Dad said we were only in the door for about 4 seconds and when he saw Mom's face, he knew I was going home with them to Eugene. I even have twin human brothers that are 8-1/2 years old. I love to chase tennis balls but sheesh, four hands to throw balls can really tire a guy out! I get to go on a walk each morning and night. The squirrels still fascinate me and on occasion I do my famous 180 degree turn foster Mom warned them about. Oh, in case you were wondering, my tail still hasn't gotten away from me yet. Foster Mom recommended I take a class to bond with my new family... I thought it was summer break! I'll have to talk with foster Mom when I see her in August. I get to go back to Portland for my eye checkup and Mom said we get to visit foster Mom. Thanks to all the volunteers who help with Golden Bond, it sure made a difference in my life.
Love,
Titus (#992)
