Hi Golden Bond,
Bailey and Sierra are doing great! We
just had a fabulous holiday
together. We were dogsitting for another dog from Dec 21-Dec 26,
and
Sierra was slightly nervous, but nothing major. They were both
rewarded
by their good behavior as we took them to the beach (Manzanita)
from Dec
26-30. They got to run on the beach, sniff other dogs and sleep
on the
bed. Dave and I had a good time too!
Sierra and Bailey are just fabulous.
The dogs are good around other
people, other dogs and SOME cats. Just no squirrels. I know that
there
was some concern with the dogs and barking at their previous home,
but
it has not really been an issue with us. Bailey will bark if he
wants to
come in if you leave him outside, but since he spends most of
his time
in the house, it's not been a problem. Bailey is particularly
fond of
his Christmas present, a Galileo Nylabone that weighs about 5
lbs.
Sierra likes any squeaky toys--a current favorite is a squeaky
grasshopper that she likes to destroy.
Since it's the new year, I'm pretty nostalgic,
but I can't believe that
I have two dogs (I've never had dogs before), and that they are
such
great, kind pooches. We made a great choice!
This is probably more information than
you wanted, but you should know
that I got the best dogs of 2002!
