Hi Folks,

Max #1724 here or Maxwell, Maxmillian and Maxie as my Mom calls me. I come no matter what 'cause I want to be wherever she is! I love my new home. It has a big yard with squirrels and birds but most of all balls to chase. The first week with my new Mom we went camping which was a new experience for me. My Mom had a little girl with her she said was her granddaughter. She went for walks with me and let me chase the chipmunks. I even slept on her sleeping bag in the tent. I went into a river for the first time and it was strange. I kept trying to walk on the water but it wouldn't stay put like the ground does. I stayed in camp without being tied. I know a good thing when I have it! Everyone that saw me told me how handsome I was and how well behaved. I figure with attention like that who needs to bark or whine.

I have a new friend now to keep my company while Mom is at work. She got a little black dog named Koa who needed a forever home Iike I did. I was a little jealous at first but now we tease each other with the toys but I can win cause I'm bigger. We like to sleep together on Mom's bed (when she let's us) and get our bellies rubbed at the same time. I make sure Mom rubs me longer by keeping my paw up over her arm. That way she can't move it until I'm ready. We go for walks and I'm trying to teach Koa how to behave when he is on the leash. He sure needs work in that department!

Thanks Golden Bond for helping me find such a great place to live. I love my Mom and she loves me. We rescued each other and now we're not lonely anymore.
