Hello everyone, this is Mia #1955. I am doing just awesome at my new home. My new family tells me all the time they just couldn't possibly love me any more and how lucky they are that I came to them. My first few days were kinda hard though. I was a little sad leaving my foster mom's house and my golden buddy. My new mom was worried because I didn't eat very well and I just seemed sad. After almost a week of nothing but lots and lots of attention, love, and long walks, I realized that this is my furever home. Once I figured that out, I was so happy. So happy that I was eating all my food (and my family's food too). They weren't too happy when I ate their roast off the kitchen counter when mom was out of the kitchen. I laughed when they had to have cold cereal for dinner! Mom and dad said that it was a good thing that I am so cute that they can't stay mad. Even though I am fed very good food, I still think the roast was better. (Don't tell anyone, but I also licked the frosting off my human brother's birthday cake) I think my family finally caught on because NOTHING is left out now.

Did I tell you about all the human friends I have made? People come over to my house all the time to see me. They say that I am the best dog ever. I sure love all the attention. I just can't get enough. With all the excitement, I do need to have some good naps. Apparently I snore a bit. Mom and dad laugh because they have never heard such a thing. Sometimes I even wake myself up! Hopefully this will get better when I drop a few more pounds. I guess I need to stay off the pot roast and cake frosting for awhile.

Since I came to my furever home, I got to meet my new doctor and I got a day at the doggy spa. They said that I was so good that I am welcome back anytime. I sure felt good after a nice wash and haircut.

It feels so great to know how much I am loved. My family says that they cannot wait until summer. They say that I get to go camping and boating. My mom even found me the cutest life vest. I am not sure if I have ever done any of these things, but I can't imagine that I wouldn't like them. I just want to be close to my family all the time. In fact, when I sleep I have to be touching someone. It just makes me feel secure.
