Buddy #1912 & Kyra #1913 came to me as my first senior bonded pair for foster. They were both kind of a mess, but something about them really grabbed me. I knew when I got involved in fostering for Golden Bond that sooner or later I would end up adopting, but I never expected it to be these guys. They are 10 and 8 years old. Buddy is overweight, a bit arthritic and ten. Kyra is blind, partially deaf and a medical train wreck. But somewhere very early in the process I fell in love.

Buddy seems to love spending half the day at work with me where he seems to have developed friendships with many customers. Kyra is very happy at home and with my long time resident dog. When the time came to put them up for adoption - I couldn't do it. I knew that they would take a while to place in an adoptive home and I knew that the longer I had them the harder it would be to give them up. Consequently, I decided to adopt them.
