Hello Scout and Boo here! We used to be called SweetPea #1924 and Vanilla #1923 but Mom thought that sounded too much like a scented candle ­ so we're now Scout and Boo. We think our new names fit our personalities so much better don't you?

We've been living on Bainbridge Island since Labor Day weekend, ­ phew, what fun we've been having! This place is full of wonderful places to walk, run and swim. ­ When we go for walks, we get lots of love from people and kids and other dogs ­ and we love them right back. Yesterday Mom and Dad took us to the beach for a Thanksgiving Day picnic and run/swim ­ can you see how beautiful it was that day? ­ No rain either!

When we first met Mom and Dad, we were kind of fat and we were definitely out of shape ­ (Boo: Scout was a real super chunk). It was hard for us to go for long walks (Boo: the stairs were even tough for poor Scout). Since then, we've been exercising and watching our diets ­ we've both lost weight and we're in great condition (Boo: Scout is a real hottie now ­ I have to protect my sister from the neighborhood boy dogs!). We never knew that we were such great athletes ­ now we can't wait for our walks and we run up and down the stairs. Chasing balls is the best and we've discovered that we love to run (Scout: I catch better but Boo runs faster).

Thanks Golden Bond for helping us to find our new home! Special thanks to our foster family,­ we miss you and we really miss your big boys! And to our friend, Rita, thanks for being such a good friend to Mom and Dad and thanks for helping them to adopt (again) from Golden Bond!
