Lucy #1845 joined our family on May 27, 2009. We are so pleased to have her with us, what a joy! We absolutely adore her as do our children & grandchildren when they visit. She is so sweet, loving and playful at 5 and one half years old. The first couple of nights, she jumped on the end of our bed in the early morning hours, curled up and went right back to sleep. Lucy loves to ride in the car, but not in the back end. She prefers our "leather seats", so we have laid out a bed to accommodate her. We have learned the hard way not to leave any food visible on the counters when we leave. She has enjoyed trail mix, baguette bread including the wrapping, cookies, protein bar plus wrapper, etc.

We just returned from spending two weeks at our home at Black Butte Ranch in Central Oregon. Lucy thought "Wow, what a big backyard and no fences!" We kept a close eye on her as she chased squirrels, helped herself to neighbors dog toys, looked for mice, took long walks, etc. We found out that she really enjoys swimming as we took her to the lake for a dip. She had a blast!

We feel Lucy is just right for us. We will be traveling to Palm Springs, CA for the winter. We know she likes the sunshine and warmth already as she sunbathes on our patio. Thank you Golden Bond for choosing us to adopt Lucy. She is the best.
