It was a very smooth transition for Chloe #1837 and we are so glad she is settled in her forever home! When she came to our house to meet us she made herself right at home plopping down on the dog bed we had gotten for our potential adoptee and grabbing a hedgehog out of the toy bucket. She impressed us immediately with her manners, knowing how to shake and sit. We could not wait for the 24 hours to pass so we could bring her home! She was so calm on the car ride home from Paul & Joy's.

Having settled into a routine, Chloe greets us each morning with her bunny and cuddles with us on the couch in the evenings. She loves her belly rubs and the spot by the kitchen door where she can lay in the sun or watch the woodpecker in the cherry tree. She loves to sneak up on the couch when we aren't home, but that's OK because we love to see her little head pop up from the sofa when we put the key in the door. She's doing much better on her leash with the help of a Gentle Leader. We go for 3 mile walks each evening which she really loves - so many birds and squirrels in the neighborhood! People often pass by in their car and comment on how beautiful she is and we sure think so! We are working on retrieving (and returning!) the ball and will visit the beach soon. She loves all of her people friends that have come over to meet her and has had a couple playdates with other furry friends. We love having a dog and are so grateful to Golden Bond. What a great organization. Thank you!
