Callie #2092

Adopted December 20, 2010

Callie #2092 (now Cami Mae) arrived at her new home to a warm greeting from her two new sisters – Rosie and Lily, both Dalmatians. As there is a dog cousin already named Cali, she agreed to have her name modified to Cami Mae. Her predecessor, a sweet Golden Retriever named Daisy Mae, and her new sisters, Rosie and Lily, all have flower names. Cami is short for Camellia.

Cami was immediately swept into her new family’s lifestyle of hiking, skiing, and adventure. Her first visit to the snow at Mount Hood Meadows was a doggie delight. She frolicked with Rosie and Lily, hiking up the Heather Canyon trail in new fallen powder. She burrowed like a gopher, bounded like a gazelle, and basically acted like a normal, goofy, and healthy Golden Retriever. She has gotten used to this activity every weekend, and has long hikes and camping to look forward to this summer.

Callie #2092Rosie and Lily are pleased with their new sister. The three wrestle and chase each other for hours, play tug of war, race after tennis balls, and sleep together in front of the fire when pooped out. Cami is pleased Golden Bond offered her a second chance and found her a new home full of companionship, adventure, Dalmatians, and love.

Thank you to all at Golden Bond who helped bring this wonderful companion to our home.
