Taz #2067

2067_taz_2 Adopted October 30, 2010

Taz #2067 joined us as a foster dog in September. He was turned into a Roseburg shelter with several other intact dogs. At 11 years old, he was the oldest, and was left behind as everyone else got adopted from the shelter. Knowing that Golden Bond Rescue will never say "no" to a senior sweetie, the shelter asked Golden Bond to please come pick up Taz. He was transported to the Portland area by a chain of GB's wonderful volunteers. While we were still fostering Taz, we discovered that he had a mast cell tumor in his groin. Thankfully, the surgery was successful to remove the tumor with good margins, and we knew we had to make this wonderful boy part of our family. We hope Taz will have many happy, healthy years with us! Taz loves his brother Riley, and they even like to curl up on the same dog bed together. They are a well suited pair -- a little play wrestling and tons of chillaxing! Taz is a lover dog, who will lean on our leg while we stroke his soft head endlessly. Taz is our 4th Golden Bond dog, and we thank everyone involved for giving an "old guy" a happy ending!
