Bingley's Available Story

I'm Bingley (#2147), and I hear people say that I am about 2 years old and a healthy, energetic, loving 53-pound guy. I have really pretty blonde hair and big brown eyes. People also say that I may not be a full Golden Retriever. But I have all the wonderful Golden characteristics, like soft ears and a warm, fun personality.

I currently live with another Golden, my 3-year-old foster sister. We get along well. I love when we run, chase, and play. But I like when I'm by my people just as much. They toss the ball for me in our big back yard, and that is so fun!!

I also have a human foster brother who is 7, and I think he is great. I hope to be around more kids in my future!! But I don't get along with everyone all the time. I came from a home that had chickens that I wanted to constantly investigate. And my foster family thinks getting me used to a cat might take a little work. So I am going to need some supervision if you want to keep other species in the house or yard with me.

Unfortunately, I don't have very good recall. My foster family also thinks I need some work walking on a leash, but I say all in due time. I'm sure I'll get it if someone takes the time to work with me.

When my foster family leaves the house, sometimes I stay in a crate. But more and more, I get to roam the house (or blocked off portions of the house), and I do well (staying out of trouble, no chewing, etc.). And when our family goes to sleep at night, I sleep in the same room as my people -- sometimes on their bed, sometimes right next to it.
