Buddie's Available Story

Hi! My name is Buddie (#2130), and I'm 14 years old. But I don't feel like it, look like it, or seem it. I feel like I'm 7 or 8 years old. I am full of vim and vigor. I'm told I'm a Golden/Yellow Lab mix, but I think I'm more Yellow Lab than Golden. I'm really soft, and I am a pretty color combination of white and cream. My foster mom pets and plays with my ears for a long time because they're so soft! She says I'm a nice, small size: I'm about 55 pounds.

I mind very well, I'm happy and healthy, have no arthritis or medical problems, and just got my teeth cleaned! I'd like to go and do fun things with you like walking, hiking, fishing, boating, and camping. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet time on the couch snuggling with you and watching TV, ballroom dancing, country line dancing, and I like to "sing" or howl when I get very excited! You name the activity, I'm your dog. I'm a Renaissance Dog!

My nice family had me for 12 years, and then they had some financial problems. They had to move to where they couldn't keep dogs. They hated to give me up, but they knew that Golden Bond Rescue would find me the very best home. I am great with children, dogs, and cats, and I will sleep wherever you want me to. Right now, I like to sleep at the foot of my foster mom's bed, but I mind very well and will be happy to do whatever my wonderful new family asks me to do. Right now, I stay home with other dogs during the day, and I get really happy when my "lady" comes home from work. Of course, the more time I can spend with you, the better.

I really like to play with my friend "Kaylee", another Golden Bond foster dog. We play gently, and it's fun. She kind of "startles" me, and then I turn around happily in a circle, then she does it again, and I turn another circle. As I said, I'm good with other dogs, children, cats, and people.
