How lucky we were to have Daisy #2132 join our family in mid-April. Daisy is a sweet ten year old girl who made herself at home very quickly. She can be described as being pleasingly plump and her very favorite activity is napping on the couch. Daisy quickly felt comfortable with her new brother Buddy and joins the excitement he shows at meal and walk time. She has no problem with her feline sister Fay and I have seen Daisy trying to engage Fay in a little playtime now and then. Daisy's weight does hamper her from taking long walks, but that didn't stop her from running like the wind across our lawn when we were surprised by a wild turkey one morning.  I just know that she will be an active girl when she slims down in a few months. Maybe hiking will replace couch napping as her favorite activity. WelcomeDaisy!
