Dexter's Available Story

Dexter (#2153) is 6 years old. He is part Golden Retriever and part Collie. Physically, he is in very good shape; medically, he is in very good health. He weighs 55 pounds and has curly hair. A lot of people say he looks like a bear.

Dexter is very sweet and well behaved. He loves attention.

Dexter plays well with other dogs. He doesn't like cats, so no homes with cats please. He is also not recommended for homes with small children. Kids over 12 would probably be fine.

He is very well mannered. He doesn't get on furniture. He doesn't like to be caged, so either no crate or an open crate in his future home.

This guy travels well. He loves going for walks. He also loves going for rides in the car; he even does really well on long trips.

Dexter is a really good dog and just needs love.
