Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Babe #2118 was adopted into our family to join our two other Golden Bond rescue dogs, Bodie and Chloe. As a long-time volunteer, I've always had a soft spot for the seniors but was very happy with my two dogs and elderly cat. When I saw the notice go out for anyone interested in adopting a senior dog, I found myself asking what dogs were available and by the next weekend we had extended our family once again. Babe is the sweetest, happiest girl who just loves to be with her people. She doesn't actively play with her new brother and sister, but she gets along very well with them and with the cat, along with every other person and animal she meets. She is very much a people dog, and adores her tummy rubs and butt rubs from anyone she can find to give her one. I've introduced her to the big park by my house, and she is very happy to go out there every day and run around. She's not much of a ball catcher, but I found that she loves water when she plopped herself right in the backyard kiddie pool and laid down to roll over and splash. The best way I can describe this girl is happy. I've never adopted a dog before who fit in so quickly and completely, and she is very loved in her forever home.
