Hogan #2185

Adopted November 22, 2011

Adoption Story

Hogan #2185Hi my name is Hogan, #2185. I am a male golden, 5-6 years of age.  I came to Golden Bond from a shelter that thought I was unadoptable. What does that mean? Sure, I was barking, jumping and trying to get someone to let me out of the kennel.  I really don’t enjoy being in a kennel. Once I got out of the kennel I calmed down and my Golden Bond foster family found that what I really love is dog toys; tennis balls, Frisbees and squeakies (to name a few).  I love to go for walks and car rides and, oh yeah, water is wonderful too.

Hogan #2185My foster mom feels that I would do better in a home with bigger dogs and older children.  I get so excited when my toy is thrown that I try to plow through whatever is in my way: tables, dogs, people - you get the idea. I was pretty matted when I came to Golden Bond and they had to cut a lot of my mats out. When my hair comes in I will be handsome again and will need regular grooming, I have quite a bit of long hair. If you want someone who is always by your side I am the boy for you! I will even leave slobbery Frisbees on your pillow at night.  Right now my mom would love to type without my slobbery tennis ball on her arm!
