Adopted February 6, 2010

Wrigley's story (Pal #1968) doesn't really have an opening chapter; as he was found as a stray running the streets of Eugene, and placed with Golden Bond a few weeks later. My fiancé and I were had discussed getting a dog for some time. I grew up with a golden in my home and she just wanted to make sure we adopted.

Golden Bond Rescue and Wrigley were the perfect fit! We both like to hike and spend a lot of time outdoors, so a younger puppy was ideal. Wrigley has proven to have more than enough energy to keep up with any activity we're doing! He is such wonderful boy, very obedient, willing to learn, and a softy at heart. He has set of brown eyes that make you wonder how any one could ever let him go. We are so happy to provide him with his forever home.

We have been working very hard on creating a dependable structure to make him feel comfortable in our home, and he has really appreciated it. His favorite part of the day is his morning walk, because it's a guarantee the school field near where we live is all ours so we can let the tennis balls fly. He is definitely a retriever at heart, the minute that tennis ball comes out his face just lights up. He is an amazing addition to our young family We look forward to many more years with Wrigley, and are extremely grateful to all those that donate their time and homes to make these wonderful adoption stories a reality.
